So my friend and I went to E3 and it was flippin' AMAZING! We got to play Twilight Princess on the Wii and we also got to dress up as Princess Zelda and Link to help promote the Wii and Twilight Princess! It was probably the most exciting day of our lives!

Now, before I go on a rant about my awesome adventure at E3, let me just say that E3 is a TRADE SHOW EVENT, NO COSPLAY! My friend and I had to go through the board of E3, the Nintendo booth & representatives, and E3's show managers BEFORE we were approved to wear our costumes. Okay, just wanted to point that out to everyone ^_^

So we were Zelda and Link at the Nintendo booth and EVERYONE there was SOOOOOO nice! We stood and took pictures for hours and they brought us water and were just so sweet! They also invited us to play the Wii and said we didn't have to wait in the LOOOOONG Wii line, but we only took their offer once. We played TP again, of course! My friend was actually lucky enough to catch the Hylian Loach in the fishing demo! Figures, considering she was Link LOL!

We were also invited behind the booth where all the Nintendo representatives and higher-ups were during E3 interviews, etc. We were SOOOOO happy, thanks to Matt, James, Andy, and Tom for their enthusiasm, help, and hard work they put into. Matt took us inside and showed us around; he also offered us ice cream, sodas, and food! It was awesome!

Earlier on the second day of E3, my friend and I were out of costume and I was VERY nauseous at the time. So we went to the food stand and I bought an orange to help relieve my tummy. Well, while we were walking back, my friend spotted a guy who looked like Shigeru Miyamoto. Now the ENTIRE day before, my friend kept saying she thought she saw Miyamoto, but each and every time he wasn't. I thought that this was just another one of her crazy mix-ups, but she took me over to the restrooms and we waited for the two men to come out. When they did, we saw Bill and Shigeru Miyamoto! I was just shocked! Too shocked to even show it! Well, Bill recognized us from yesterday and he introduced us to Miyamoto. He was very excited and looked REALLY happy to meet us. We also got our picture taken with him! After that, they went back to Nintendo booth and my nausea suddenly disappeared!

Later that day, we took more pictures for several hours and went back behind the Nintendo Booth to take a break. While we were there, my friend and I had a gift to bring to Miyamoto, but sadly, mine wasn't finished Anyway, he came right over to us and my friend gave him her gift. It seems like this guy is always happy and excited whenever we see him! We talked with him for a while and took a few more pics with him in costume (obviously! *points up*), he signed my friend's shield, tunic, and hat, and he signed my glove! Really, Miyamoto is the most humble and sweetest man you'll ever meet, and I'm not saying this because he's Miyamoto, he really is genuine ^_^ After Miyamoto and Bill left, word got around FAST that we met Miyamoto. Matt even congradulated us about our excited rendevous! People were just so happy for us, they even asked us to show up the next day for more pics ^_^

The next day, we got back into costume and took many many many more pics! However, going around in uncomfortable armor and 40 lbs of chainmail was getting us really tired, so we got out of costume the last hour before E3 closed. We went and played Phantom Hourglass, which was also really fun! Then after that, we went behind the Nintendo booth and got some more water, but while we were there, we took some pictures with Matt, James, Tom, and the Nintendo booth babes! We were so happy, we thanked everyone for their help and their support. After taking their pics, we ran into Charles Martinet, the voice actor of Mario! we got more pics with him and he signed out E3 lanyards. He's such a sweet guy! Very talkative too ^_~ After talking with Charles, we met you know who again, that's right, Miyamoto! For the third time, just before E3 was coming to its close, we honestly didn't expect to see him on the last day. But we did! We thanked him for a wonderful time and for creating the greatest video game ever! After all that, E3 came to a close, but Miyamoto, Iwata, and Martinet came out for group signings and my friend and I were STILL behind the Nintendo booth. There was a HUGE GINORMOUS crowd just to get their autographs and some people took pics of us and said, "hey! they're link and zelda!" Yay! awe it was just soooooo thrilling to be there, I really hope we go again next year! ^______^
