PRINCESS ZELDA!
Okay so Midna was a close runner up and I know a lot of you wanted to see a tutorial of her, so I decided to do her anyway, but after I'm done with Princess Zelda.
So here's how the tutorial will go. My goal is to make the BEST Zelda tutorial possible, so every single detail of making this costume will be recorded on video. And on top of that, it will not be one LONG video. It will be cut up into segments, so in case you want to learn how to make one part of the costume instead of the entire thing, you won't have to sit through hours and hours of video to find it.
Now I will try to post the tutorials as often as I can, but you must understand that this particular costume has a LOT of detailing and accessories. It will take a long time. On top of that, I am also working a lot, so if you're expecting a tutorial to swing by in the next couple weeks, you'll be one sad puppy. So please have patience
I'll try to post progress photos in scraps ^_^
Personal update:
I'm doing great, I just accepted a role for a local theatre company; the musical is Sweeney Todd and I'm playing Johanna. I'm also costume designing the production. We open early January.
My cat Handbanana is still a stinky poo; he loves staying outside, but likes to whine to come in (why do cats do that???).
I'm a supporting character in an action short film and just found out that a few television companies in Europe want to purchase the rights, but also want it feature length. So my director is writing a feature length script of it and making my role a LOT bigger....plus we're getting paid SAG scale! ^_^ YAY!

12 hours left!!!
It's for the Video Gamers Halloween Costume Contest hosted by Amazon.com. Winner gets a $1,000 gift card to Amazon.com and an Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation PS Vita bundle! My Princess Zelda costume was chosen as a finalist in one of the four categories and so vote for me and repost the link (hehe!) on your FB's and Twitters! I need to be in the lead by midnight tonight!
There are a lot of things I need that the $1,000 gift card will help pay for: a new sewing machine, materials, notions, resin, mold making silicone, and kitchenware (I have a pretty bare kitchen and I love cooking!). I'll be able to finish my costumes and my orders quicker,
Vote for me!!! :D

The BIG reveal!!!
So I remember mentioning in a previous journal that I've been working on a super secret costume for someone and so here is the BIG reveal:
Ultimate Assassin's Creed 3 Song by SMOSH
http://youtu.be/12PWq22E9CQ
Ubisoft backed the project and I was asked to make the Connor (from AC3) costume for it. Unlike the Zelda Rap Video, I didn't have 2 months to work on it. I had roughly 2 weeks! However, I'm very happy with how it turned out even though in the video you can't see all the weathering and distress I put into the costume. I'll be posting some progress photos of the costume as well as a final look with Anthony Padilla wearing it.
Hope you
Fart ton of projects. Guess what I'm working on!
Sooooooooo I've been slaving my happy fanny away again on a string of projects. One of them being a HUGE and important costume for Smosh. I am very close to being done, but I'm not allowed to show photos yet :,( I can't even tell you which character it is. However, it's a video game character, the company is backing the project, the character is well known and iconic, I've been working on it for about a week now, and I'm SUPER excited about it! Hehe! I'll post as soon as the video is up, which should be up this month I believe.
Anyway, as for other projects, I've got a lot of Etsy orders I'm trying to finish up as well as a couple commission
